Our mission is to identify and celebrate the many elements of the culture of Kentucky West which begins at the west edge of Kentucky and encompasses the Jackson Purchase Region.

Our Purpose

To create a centralized, user-friendly hub for Western Kentucky that connects residents and visitors to local businesses, events, and experiences. This platform exists to inform, inspire exploration, and strengthen community through an accessible and ever-evolving directory of regional resources.

Our "Why"

Since Western Kentucky University is located 175 miles east of the far western edge, this sometimes results in the perception that west Kentucky ends at Bowling Green. This tends to leave our region out of many conversations/considerations; thus, the name Kentucky West Inc.

Our Goals

We organize and host events and activities that celebrate the Kentucky West culture, including arts, music, history, food, customs and rituals, faith/religion/beliefs, and education. Our online presence serves as the information hub for all things Kentucky West.
